In the early church it was common practice to share resources with one another (Acts 2:44-45; 4:32-37; 5:1-11; 6:1-7). They understood what it meant to be the family of God. They also understood that everything they owned belonged to God and they desired to offer it back into his work. At New Beginnings Church we are striving to become a community devoted to living out Christ-likeness. One of the ways to practice being a community is offer our resources and services to others who need them. The Common List is the place to offer our available resources or services to others who are in need. Perhaps you have a extra bed in your garage and someone has a need for a bed…or perhaps you have the ability to work on automobiles and someone is needing an extra hand…the opportunities to serve and give to one another are endless.

There are some brief guidelines to using the common list:

1. The Common List is intended to assist in communication. It is a tool to help us find and then match resources with available needs within our community. It is not intended to replace other systems currently in use for benvolent ministries.
2. The Common List is NOT a place to ask for money. If the need is monitary please contact the church office at 816-525-7403 or office@newbeginningschurch.tv
3.The Common List is not a place for free advertising for your business.
4.The Common List is for helping us balance and respond to the needs of those around us.

Instructions for how to use the Common List:
To list a new “resource” or “need” enter the information under where it says “post a new comment.” You will have to enter your name before you post your comment. It would be helpful, but not required to enter your email address.
To respond to a listing that someone else has already put up click “reply” under that post.
